Phil was introduced to SOLE Custom Footbeds in the Fall of 2004 by his older brother and Canadian National Ski Team Member, Jan Hudec Jr. During Jan's Pre-season training in Europe, he noticed a significant difference in his performance on the hill when wearing SOLE and gave Phil a pair to try in his ski boots.
